Hello! I’m Pastor Adam Dichsen and my family and I are thrilled to call Trinity Lutheran Church and the Carthage community our home. My wife, Karen, and
I are from Southern Illinois. We went to Truman State University in Kirksville,
MO, (I earned degrees in Biology and Religion while Karen in Art and Elementary Education) and then to seminary at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago. We moved to Carthage in June of 2009.
Our oldest, Marilyn, is two and a half and just loves the fact that we can see tractors, horses, and cows around the community without having to go to a
museum (in Chicago, her favorite attraction at the museum was a green
combine – nothing against red though!). Benen is almost one and, from what
we can tell, he likes it here a lot too. We all love the outdoors so you will
probably see us walking around town, on our tandem bike with trailer in tow,
or maybe heading to the lake to go kayaking.
So say hello if you see us out and about, stop by the church Monday-Thursday mornings, join us for worship Sundays at 9am, and stick around for
Sunday School for all ages. We would love to meet you!
May the Lord Bless and Keep You!
Pastor Adam
